| Libby's main work involves commissioned portraits and she finds that pastels are the perfect medium for her style of portraiture. Her works are held in collections throughout Victoria, interstate and overseas. She has studied portraiture at The Victorian Artists' Society under Barbara McManus for 3 years and has attended many workshops and courses, including botanical illustration in watercolour. In 2004 she won Runner-up Best in Show at the PSV Annual Exhibition. Memberships include The Victorian Artists' Society, The Australian Guild of Realist Artists' and The Pastel Society of Victoria of which she is a past Vice President and former Newsletter Editor-publisher. In 2006 she was made an Honorary Life Member of the PSV. |
