Since discovering the exciting, vibrant and versatile pastel medium in 2002, Pauline has portrayed the local area surrounding her home of 30 years - Warrandyte - its bushland, orchards, historical buildings, the Yarra river, rolling hills, valleys and wondrous sunrises.
More recently, in July 2007, Pauline and her husband explored Central Australia resulting in a series of outback interpretations of red sand dunes, endless plains, and blue skies, water holes, ghost gums, camels, emus and amazing escarpments.
Besides being a member of the Pastel Society (highly commended 2005,2007), Pauline is also a member of the Australian Guild of Realist Artists (with commendations in 2004,2005 & 2007).
In 2006 Pauline was involved in the formation of a new painting group of eight members called the Pastel Palette.
